Biography
Vivian Papageorgiou teaches Cinema at the University of Athens, Faculty of Media. She holds a PhD in Cinema & a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual (Nouvelle Sorbonne, Paris III). She also studied English Literature (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki) and Interior Design. She is a Sarajevo FF talent alumni (2016). She is interested in exploring different genres & forms in cinema and her work includes several short films (fiction, documentary, animation & experimental). Her animation “Lost & Found” premiered at Fantoche FF, Switzerland while her experimental “Breath” premiered in Ann Arbor FF, USA. Her feature documentary in development “Memories” participated at the Dox of War Lab of Zagreb Documentary. Her first feature documentary “Delta” participated at the CoPro Forum of MakeDox, Skopje and the DocLab of 20th Verzio, Budapest and it premiered in Thessaloniki Documentary FF.
