Biography
Philipp Schaeffer is a director from Hamburg. After graduating in philosophy from King's College London in 2017, he spent two years traveling between Los Angeles, the Canadian Arctic, and Berlin, working on augmented reality projects. He is currently studying documentary filmmaking at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His works have been nominated for the IDA Award and the German Film Critics' Award, licensed by The New Yorker Documentary, and showcased at festivals such as CPH:DOX, Camerimage, and Sundance.
