Biography
Maja Doroteja Prelog is a film director based in Ljubljana. Her short film Wild East (2012) won the Vesna Award for Best Student Short Film at the 16th Slovenian Film Festival. With her partner Blaž Murn, Maja founded the creative duo RÁ., which focused on cinema and various artistic practices. As part of RÁ., she directed videos for the world-renowned art-music group Laibach. In 2016, she wrote, directed and produced the experimental short film 2045, which won the Best of FeKK SLO award at the Ljubljana Short Film Festival. The personal documentary Cent'anni (2024), produced with the support of Circle Women Doc Accelerator, marks her feature film debut.
