IX. Verzió Doclab is looking for documentary projects in the making to participate in a five-day intensive editing workshop for directors and editors during the 21st Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Budapest on November 5-9, 2024.

Who?:
The focus of the workshop is story development and editing. With the guidance of international mentors, the teams work on their documentary project’s story and edit a selected scene that they will present at the end of the workshop in front of an audience of festival programmers, sales agents and producers. Verzió DocLab is looking for projects by first- or second-time feature directors! The workshop will aim to guide the teams to reach their projects' artistic and cinematic potential. With Verzió DocLab, you can have your voice heard and impact the industry as a visual storyteller. Find the core of your story!

Awards:
In addition to providing opportunities to meet industry members and potential collaborators, the Verzió Doclab Pitch event also offers awards from its partners and panel members. Participating projects have the chance to receive mentoring, develop their projects further, amongst other prizes they can win the HBO AWARD of 1500 euros by Warner Bros. Discovery. Accommodation and travel:
