OPEN CALL: DocsBarcelona Industry 2025

DocsBarcelona Industry, the professional market of the DocsBarcelona Film Festival, invites you to submit your project!

Why Apply? 
The program is open to projects of any genre, from any country, and focused on any subject. Projects can be submitted to seven tailored initiatives, designed to secure financing, distribution, training, or general support. This year, we are offering a total of €30,000 in prizes.

Initiatives Include:

FORUM – Financing Activities
▪️Public Pitch: Present your project in development to commissioning editors, distributors, and co-producers.
▪️Rough Cut Pitch: Showcase final editing stage projects to funders and sales agents for feedback and distribution.
▪️New Tech Pitch: Pitch VR, AR, AI, Web3, or Blockchain-based projects to tech and audiovisual experts (in collaboration with Sónar+D).
▪️Speed Meetings: One-on-one 15-minute sessions with international financiers.

TRAINING – Development Activities
▪️Campus DocsBarcelona: A year-round mentorship and training lab.
▪️Artistic Consultancies: 80-minute personalized consultations for Rough Cut projects.
▪️DocsBarcelona Talents: A talent program supporting five emerging documentary professionals.
